update while still waiting

I thought I'd better write again or you'd all get fed up!
Life is sort of surreal at the moment. It's a constant cycle of finishing off things and saying goodbyes. We want to see as many people as possible but realise time will probably beat us especially as work commitments are abit mad for the next 3 weeks.
We have got the dog booked on our flight now (which cost more than an adult fare- hope she's worth it!) The hire car is booked for 2nd August which is big enough for 5 people, 5 cases, 5 carry on bags, 2 laptops & a dog in a crate! We need to sell our car on that date too any takers?
We spent the weekend over in Dewsbury with family and friends. This was a lovely time as family travelled from all over to be with us.
I still search the internet daily for houses to rent or buy and jobs but I think we're at a disadvantage being still in England.
We are finding it very frustrating knowing all the stuff we need to do when we land in Canada but not being able to start anything. Never mind I suppose this is the calm before the storm.
3 weeks 2 days to go!
